This site is informational. The people who can act on a filing are at your state's office, and every state page tells you how to reach them.
If you have a question about a filing
Resident Agent Info does not file documents, appoint agents or hold records for any company. If you need to appoint or change a resident agent, pay a fee, check an entity's status or ask about a notice you received, the state filing office is the only place that can help, and it is usually quick about it. Choose your state below for the office's street and mailing address, phone number, office hours and website.
If you need a resident agent
A commercial resident agent company will accept the appointment for a fee, keep business hours at an in-state address and forward whatever arrives. Compare providers on price, on whether they cover every state you are registered in, and on how fast they forward service of process.
If something on this site is wrong
Offices move, phone numbers change and statutes get amended. If you spot an error on a state page, the state's own website is the current authority and should be followed over anything written here. A correction channel for this site will be published on this page when it is available.
